On Saturday, March 15, 2008, the West Philly Tool Library held a grand opening at our storefront on Woodland Avenue. Members, neighbors and friends joined, mingled, checked out the tool inventory, and enjoyed lunch (graciously supplied by our neighbor, USP). A bike race made a stop along their Wild Wild West Philly route, the Inquirer came by, and so did Action News. It was a beautiful day, and a good time was had by all.
Check out the photos to see the library itself, members, bikes, and the blue sky over West Philly. (All photos here).
