Build Your Own Plantstand!

Join us for a hands-on woodworking class where you’ll build your own custom wooden plant stand—perfect for indoor or outdoor use. This class covers essential skills like measuring, cutting with a miter saw, drilling, and assembling using screws and wood glue. You’ll learn safe tool operation, basic joinery, and tips for finishing your project with sanding and optional stain or paint. This is a hands-on class - so get ready to get your hands dirty and try something new at the West Philly Tool Library! The cost of this class is flexible. West Philly Tool Library is committed to keeping our classes affordable and accessible to as many people as possible. Cancellations and Credit: If you have signed up for a class but are unable to attend, please complete the form at https://westphillytools.org/classes/request to cancel your enrollment. Per our policy, for cancellation requests received at least one week before the class, we will issue a credit towards a future class. We are unable to guarantee credit for cancellation requests received less than seven days before the date of the class, although we will do our best to accommodate late cancellations if we are able to fill your spot. Tickets are transferable; please notify us using this form prior to the class if someone else will be attending in your stead and provide the attendees name and email address.
