Date Night @ WPTL - Make Your Own Cutting Board!

Learn how to make your own wooden cutting board! Join our hands-on workshop where you will design, craft, and seal your own custom cutting board using food-safe materials and techniques. This class offers a fun, beginner-friendly environment to learn basic woodworking skills, from design and planning to finishing and sanding, while emphasizing proper food safety practices throughout the process. Say no to microplastics: make your own wooden cutting board start to finish! Please feel free to bring a drink (or two) for the class, but be aware that no alcohol will be consumed during the power tools portion of this course. We will also have a few snacks available as well. The cost of this class is flexible. West Philly Tool Library is committed to keeping our classes affordable and accessible to as many people as possible.
