Whether you're looking to upgrade your bedroom closet, pantry, or utility space, this class will teach you the essential woodworking skills to create shelves that are both functional and stylish. Participants will work with 1x lumber and learn key techniques, including measuring, cutting with a miter saw, assembling with screws and wood glue, and securing shelves for long-lasting durability. No prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to build! In this class, you’ll learn: - How to design shelves that fit your space and needs - Proper measuring and cutting techniques using a miter saw - Assembly methods using screws, wood glue, and bracing for support - Finishing touches to enhance durability and aesthetics - Best practices for securely mounting your shelves The cost of this class is flexible.
