Intro to Soil Health

Learn the basics of soil science and how to care for urban soils. Will cover topics such as soil types, soil fertility, testing your soil for nutrients or toxins, soil remediation, and making your own raised bed mix. This is a hands-on class - so get ready to get your hands dirty and try out some basic tools and skills at the West Philly Tool Library! The cost of this class is flexible. West Philly Tool Library is committed to keeping our classes affordable and accessible to as many people as possible. Per our policy, for cancellation requests received at least one week before the class, we will issue a credit towards a future class. We are unable to guarantee credit for cancellation requests received less than seven days before the date of the class, although we will do our best to accommodate late cancellations if we are able to fill your spot.
