Paint Like A Pro!

Learn how to repair and paint your walls like a pro—no experience needed! In this hands-on workshop at the West Philly Tool Library, you'll practice patching holes, taping seams, sanding smoothly, and applying paint for a flawless finish. Perfect for homeowners, renters, or DIYers ready to tackle their own drywall and painting projects with confidence. We will cover: - Nailspotting newly installed drywall - Patching small and large holes in drywall - Taping seams by hand - Installing corner beads (outside corners) - Sanding and finishing for Level 4 finishes - Hand painting techniques, brush and rollers This class will also include some time for Q&A's regarding students' individual home projects. If you are interested in the installation of drywall or plaster/lath walls or the specific techniques associated with a Level 5 finish - we encourage you to check out our other classes that focus on these topics. The cost of this class is flexible. West Philly Tool Library is committed to keeping our classes affordable and accessible to as many people as possible.
