Curious about the old walls in your Philly rowhome? This hands-on class introduces the tools, techniques, and materials used to repair and restore traditional plaster and lath walls. Learn how to patch holes, stabilize loose plaster, and blend repairs for a smooth finish—all using accessible DIY methods. This class will also include some time for Q&A's regarding students' individual home projects. If you are interested in the installation of drywall or the specific techniques associated with a Level 5 finish - we encourage you to check out our other classes that focus on these topics. The cost of this class is flexible. West Philly Tool Library is committed to keeping our classes affordable and accessible to as many people as possible. If you would like to pay less than the $75 ticket, please use coupon code "DISCOUNT10" or "DISCOUNT20" for $10 or $20 respectively off the class cost. Also please consider paying more, if you are able, to help cover the costs of hosting this class and others like it. Cancellations and Credit: If you have signed up for a class but are unable to attend, please complete the form at https://westphillytools.org/classes/request to cancel your enrollment. Per our policy, for cancellation requests received at least one week before the class, we will issue a credit towards a future class. We are unable to guarantee credit for cancellation requests received less than seven days before the date of the class, although we will do our best to accommodate late cancellations if we are able to fill your spot. Tickets are transferable; please notify us using this form prior to the class if someone else will be attending in your stead and provide the attendees name and email address.

All classes are for adults age 18 and over only. No exceptions. You will be asked to accept the full terms during checkout.
